Designer

Our designers work with our customers’ plans to design pre-engineered
trusses or floor systems. Designers must have completed a post-secondary
program in Architecture or Building Design, have the ability to
read and interpret building plans and be experienced in AutoCAD
and MS Office software. Knowledge and experience design software
is desirable.

Forklift Operator

Our forklift operators play a key role in all aspects of lumber
yard operations by ensuring materials are moved throughout the property
in a timely, safe and efficient fashion. Applicants must be a certified
fork lift truck operator.

General Labourer

Our general labourers provide assistance to various operators throughout
the lumber yard – duties are varied based on workload. Labourers
should be physically fit.

We take safety seriously –
on your site and ours!
We are committed to the prevention of on-the-job injuries, and that
requires a strong focus on health and safety training. To ensure
that our visits to your job site comply with all provincial requirements
for safety, all KOTT employees involved in site visits are equipped
with proper safety apparel, and have received WHMIS and fall restraint
training. In addition, all of our drivers receive pre-trip inspection
training, as well as defensive driving training, to make sure your
